at last i got some time out to blog, after 2 months of inactivity, 2nd post of the year 2008... of course, ns have drained quite some energy from me, but at least i'm still kicking strong...

7 mar: a level results release... actually didn't really feel very worried before getting my results coz it's more or less confirmed so no point worrying about it too much and overkilling my brain cells, since most of them already dead during the period of ns... final results:

chem h2: a
maths h2: a
bio h2: b
gp h1: b
chem h3: merit

not bad already lar, with 5 distinctions out of 8 subjects, with the others getting b or merit... bio very sad lar, coz actually can get a one lorz, but nvm... gp lucky can get b, chem h3 get merit good enough for me... i dunno whether my bio can get a if i didn't take chem h3... it's all over and the dust has settled and i'm quite ok with it...

8 mar: ntu open house Discover L.I.F.E.@NTU... just go there to take a look, since it's the very few times that you'll get a chance to step into their campus if you don't study here... went for a tour around the school of biological sciences which offers the biomedical science and chinese medicine double degree... that double degree got me quite interested, but our tour guide (one of the profs there) told my group that the course is very popular, so dunno whether got chance to get into the course, but i think my results should be a good enough reason to get a place there, though this doesn't speak much about admitting into the course... the school of biological sciences building very new, labs and equipment also new... have to be new to fit the image of the new building... who knows i might just end up here...

11 mar: graduation parade from bmt... so fast 3 months already... cannot imagine that time would pass so fast, until my blog turned inactive for 2 months... the weather that day was chaotic: rained and stopped and rained and stopped and rained and stopped and rained and stopped and rained and stopped... well, not so many times but it's quite annoying for the weather to be so chaotic, especially when you're involved in a parade and you end up in the rain when the parade actually started... got too many stuff to bring back, duffel bag not enough space some more... my god, i dunno how come got so many stuff even though i brought back some stuff from the last book out on the day of a level results release... oh well, now can rest at home for about 2 weeks before new posting... really hope that i will get a good posting, nvm if it's command school or just unit... as long as i won't become a disabled person can already... haha...

13 mar: ulysses platoon 4 outing... ended up with less than half turned out... went to pastamania @ ps for lunch... then went to this lan shop opposite paradiz... played cs with 16 other people, lol, got to kill some people, but my playing really sux... started dota but then the game lagged quite a bit, so ended playing cs again... played for 3 hours, very draining and eyes very tired... the rest went off for dinner, i just went home coz i cannot stand eating outside food for the whole day... went home and found my com cannot start again... win2000 really sux... actually got nothing much inside my hard disk leh, dunno why liddat... brought my com for repairs, end up got viruses and hardware problems... idiot...

15 mar: nus open house... @ sports and recreation centre... a building with a new floor, which means the building is old... this first impression not very good leh... but nvm coz nus got longer history than ntu, so can be forgiven... didn't really get any new information out of the talks there... just that medicine requires applicants to submit a portfolio... need 2 recommendations, i think school testimonial good enough, but where can i get the other one? went to com repair shop to get some of my important files out of my hard disk for psc scholarship application, then got the repairs to install win xp prof and add ram to 1gb... at least this is something, with all programs on the market working on win xp and not on win2000... should be something good, some good sign for something good coming up, i suppose...
